SUMMARY:Food For Lane County Mobile Pantry (Cottage Grove)
DESCRIPTION:Through this pop-up style market\, we distribute a variety of pantry staples\, proteins\, dairy items and fresh produce. A typical visit to the Mobile Pantry will provide a household with a three- to five-day supply of nutritionally balanced groceries. \n\nWe encourage you to call ahead to confirm hours of operation.\nTo pick up groceries from a food pantry\, you must meet the USDA Emergency Food Assistance Program Requirements. However\, you will not be asked to provide identification\, proof of income or a Social Security number when you visit.\nYou may be asked to provide your name\, address and the number of people in your household. If you don’t have a permanent residence\, you can still get food.\nIf you’re unable to leave your home\, you can send someone to pick up food for you by having them bring an Authorized Representative Form; download the form in English or Spanish. Some pantries have bilingual volunteers or staff. You can filter your search for bilingual locations using the food finder.\nYou can expect to receive a 3- to 5-day supply of nutritionally balanced groceries per visit. How often you can visit varies by pantry.
